El Capitolio, Havana, Cuba

Visit Cuba

Cuba is the largest island of the West Indies group. Located between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, the country is mountainous in the southeast and south central regions and flat elsewhere.

Famous for Castro, Salsa, Cigars and classic cars, Cuba was first inhabited by Taino Indians until Columbus' arrival in 1492, after which a Spanish colony developed for several centuries.

From the exotic capital of Havana, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest city in the Caribbean, to the white sands and pristine waters of the islands of Jardines del Rey ("the King's Gardens", off Cuba's Atlantic coast) and Holguin (a rugged mountainous region), where visitors can experience amazing dive sites.
