SPANISH QUARTER FESTIVAL

Sunday, September 3rd was Sydney’s annual Spanish Quarter Festival. From noon the crowds were entertained, free of charge, with the sounds of Spanish performers while enjoying the traditional foods of the Spanish community. Visitors were treated to an array of delicacies including tapas, chorizo, paella, and churros and with market stalls set along Kent Street the public were enticed by traditional arts and crafts and invited to drink sangria. Performances included tango, flamenco and Spanish guitar.
