SOUTH AMERICAN FESTIVAL - BONDI

On a hot summers day in February 2006 the people of Sydney congregated at Bondi Pavilion to enjoy the annual South American Festival. With performances from various cultural groups representing Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba & Colombia, the crowds enjoyed the infectious rhythms of South America. From Mayan artists, a courtyard full of foodstalls and traditional arts and crafts, this months photos depict the party atmosphere enjoyed by all those who attended the event.
