ECUADOREAN INDEPENDENCE DAY

Commemorating Ecuador's Independence Day (10 August), the Ecuador Sporting Social Club brought together the country's Australian residents at a Gala Evening at Lewisham Public School Hall, Sydney. Featuring the music of Sabroson, and including performances from Maria Cuevas and Jaime Rojas the crowd was entertained with live latin sounds. It was also a night for additional celebrations - the Club's Soccer team gallantly won the final of a local area soccer championship.
